Is it too late for the Holidays?

So I am finally trying to finish up the big events of last year. I started this post almost two months ago and then our laptop stopped working and I am lost without it. I tried to finish it on our other computer, but it just never happened. So now our laptop is working just enough that I can finish. I will just be glad to be done with this one because I feel like I can move on. I guess I am working backwards, but I'll start with Christmas. So here it goes.

The Big Day
The kids on Christmas Eve in their new pajamas. Tyler wore his for the picture only. He won't sleep in anything but his Nike shorts and no shirt.

Rylan and Jenna just couldn't wait to get downstairs Christmas morning. I love watching the kids excitement during Christmas.

There was too much excitement for Brigham. He didn't last very long before falling back to sleep.

We had such a fun Christmas. It seems like it's been awhile since we've been able to celebrate Christmas on Christmas day because of Anthony schedule, but this year he was off because he had just had his second back sergury just two weeks before.

I love to experience Christmas through the eyes of my kids. I can remember going to bed Christmas Eve and not being able to sleep because I was so excited, and now to see my kids enjoying it the same way is so worth it!

Here the kids are decorating our Christmas tree!

On our way home from our trip to Utah and Idaho we were able to stop and see Grandpa Marshall. We never go to Idaho without seeing him and this time he was in Utah with other family, so on our drive home we saw him there and I am so glad we did. This turned out to be the last picture we got with him. He has since passed away. We will miss him, and always love him. He has meant so much to our family. There isn't hardly a day that goes by when the kids don't bring up some memory they have of him or Grandma Marshall. And Jenna loves to show her friends their picture and tell them a story she remembers about her Grandma and Grandpa.
Happy Bithday to Tyler!!

This year we were in Idaho for Tyler's birthday so we celebrated it there. We do have cousins in Las Vegas, but it's not very often we get to have Grandma and Grandpa at our birthday party so that made it extra special for Tyler. He had a great time with so many cousins, his aunts and uncles, and his grandparents. Thank you everyone!

Decorating Gingerbread Houses
Jennna and Tyler just couldn't wait to have a taste.

Aunt Jennifer had the kids come over to decorate gingerbread houses. She did it the real way. I would have gone to the store and bought a kit, but she made her own gingerbread and cut out the shapes, and made her own frosting. I'm glad my kids have family members who do such fun things with them.

Brigham's Blessing

I hope we're not the only ones who have hard time getting a decent picture of their kids. We had a little fight break out between Jenna and Tyler while we were trying.

Tyler just doesn't like to cooperate for any pictues.

While we were in Utah for Thanksgiving we blessed Brigham because we were going to have so much family there. I am so thankful for everyone who was able to make it. I know how hard it gets to attend all these big events. Thank you for making it such a special day! And since my whole family was there during Thanksgiving we also celebrated Christmas a little early. My kids have so much fun seeing their cousins. We don't get to see them as often as we'd like to.

Brigham being loved by his cousin and aunt.

Having fun opening presents!

Brigham loves to get attention. He will smile and talk to anyone who will look at him. Here he is with another one of his aunts. He has been such a fun baby.

Mom and Dad

The older I get the more these pictures mean to me. This is Brigham with my grandpa, his great-grandpa.
Thanksgiving
All the kids at Thanksgiving dinner.

The kids had fun making Turkies out of apples and candy. We had two Thanksgiving dinners. On Thursday we ate with the Anthony's family at Jim and Jackie's cabin, and then Friday we went to my brother's house. Thank you Jim and Jackie and Bob and Kathryn. We had so much fun!!!

We had fun sledding and riding 4 wheelers.

Brigham's first Thanksgiving. 2 months old.

Lots of cousins to play with.

After Thanksgiving nap.

We had so much fun over the holidays and are so greatful for our wonderful family. We are thankful for all the fun times we spend together!
