Trick-or-Treat

I know it's about time I post my halloween pictures. Halloween seems like it keeps getting busier we went to the school carnival, class parties, trunk-or-treat, and then the kids and I went to Phoenix and went trick-or-treating with my parents. We had a lot of fun, well all of us but Tyler. This is not his favorite holiday. He doesn't like to dress up. This is the only pictures we have of him in a costume. He didn't like carving pumpkins. He got a little bit of the insides on his hand and he started gagging, and kept saying, "this is going to make me frow up!" I thought he'd like trick-or-treating better, but even that wasn't for him. He's too shy to walk up to the doors. He warmed up to it a little as long as I was with him. Other than that the rest of us had a great time!

Welcome Brigham!!

I hope it doesn't make me a bad mom because my baby is six weeks old and these are the first pictures I've posted of Brigham. Brigham was born on September 13th at 1:09am. The crazy thing about that is Anthony and I arrived at the labor and delivery desk at 12:55am. He was born just 14 minutes after we got there. It's a good thing Anthony was home and willing to run a few red lights. I had been having contractions all night, but I guess in the back of my mind I thought they would just stop like they had with my other kids. I've been induced each time and with this one I was scheduled to be induced on the 17th so I just figured I would make until then. Anyway, I was trying to time my contraction, but they were kind of all over the place so I was waiting for them to become more regular. Well, when they became regular there was no time in between them. All I can say is I'm glad we made it to the hospital, and I'm glad it went fast because I didn't have an epidural. Besides being a little crazy things went well. Brigham is perfect!! He weighed 8lbs. 11oz. and was 21 inches long. We are so excited to have him here! The kids love him so much! Here are a few pictures of him!!

Jenna is so good to her brother. She loves to hold him standing up. And she makes sure to give him a kiss before she goes to school each day.

Tyler absolutely loves his brother. He always asks where the baby is, and loves to kiss him. It doesn't matter how tired or grouchy he is at night, he won't go to bed without giving Brigham a kiss.

Rylan is at such a fun age. He really is a big help. When Brigham starts fussing the next thing I know is Rylan has picked him up, and is holding him making him happy!

Both grandmas were able to come help us after he was born. We appriciate all they did and love spending time with them! Sorry mom I can't find the picture from when you were here. I'll add that when I find it. Proud Dad!

My friend Carol was nice enough to come over and take pictures of Brigham when he was two weeks old. I think they turned out so cute! Thanks Carol!!

Brigham has been such a fantastic baby! He has already brought so much joy to our family! We feel so blessed to have him in our family!

Happy Birthday Jenna!

I am so late with this post. On September 8th was Jenna's birthday. She turned 5!! She is such a special girl. We love having her in our family. She started kindergarten this year and is loving it. She loves to play with her brothers, and her friends. I don't think anyone who knows her can look at the color purple without thinking of Jenna. She loves it!! She loves to tease her dad, and hang out with her mom. My Little Pony party. She invited lots of her friends from school and church. They had a fun time!

The Big Day!

So I got a call from the Dr. office today, and they said if the baby is not born on his own by Thursday I will be induced Thursday morning! It's a real convenient time, I am to be at the hospital at 2am! I'm not loving that, but it's exciting to know we actually have a date to look forward to. I guess it's time to get a bed set up, and clothes put in the closet. We probably should also start to seriously think about names. Whether we're ready or not the big day will be here before we know it, and I really am excited!

My Cute Boys!

Ok, I know this is a little wierd but I had to take a picture and share the story because I thought it was so funny. So today Tyler comes running into me very excited saying,"Mom look, my dad shot a rat." I follow him into the kitchen where he has the garbage can open pointing at this large piece of lint from the dryer telling me again that,"dad shot a rat." I had to laugh. I guess I should clean out the lint from the dryer more often.

I had put the kids to bed the other night. And when I came back to check on them I found Rylan reading to Tyler. He has become such a good reader. I just though it was so sweet to see him reading to his little brother. I also love that my boys refuse to wear shirts when they sleep.

Anthony and I found Tyler sleeping like this the other day. I couldn't believe he was really sleeping standing up, but he was out cold.

Finally!!! Rylan lost his first tooth! He couldn't be happier. He's been waiting for this for a long time. He pulled it out during school on the third day. I think it's so cute, I love the big holes in kids mouths when they start losing teeth. I am so happy for you Rylan!

Back to School

Rylan and Jenna started school last week, and so far are doing great. Rylan is now in first grade, and Jenna is starting kindergarten. Rylan loves staying all day, but I think what he likes the best is eating in the cafeteria. He seems to be adjusting really well to being at school all day. Jenna so far loves kindergarten. I think she thought she would get to stay longer, because her first comment was that school was short. They both have friends in their class and seem to be very happy!! We are proud of them.

Happy Anniversary!

Anthony and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary on August 15th! I cannot believe how fast the past 11 years has gone. I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful man. He is kind, hard working, a wonderful father and a great friend. I love you babe!

Happy Birthday Rylan!!

Rylan celebrated his 7th birthday on August 7th. I can't believe how fast he's growing up. He is such a good kid! He is an exact miniture version of his dad. We love him so much and are so proud of him. We're so blessed to have him in our family!! For his family birthday he choose to go to the Rain Forest Cafe. He was lucky enough to have one of his Grandmas in town so she was able to come along with Anthony's brother, and two of his girls. We had a great time. I think getting this huge cake was Rylan's favorite part of the night!!

For his birthday party with his friends we went to the park and went ice blocking, played with water balloons, and played on a big slip and slide. Rylan had a great time with his friends!

Tyler and Ava found the good stuff! We looked over and found these two sticking their fingers in the frosting of the cake. They're so cute!
